„Dandy Diner“, a bright pink vegan diner in Berlin Neukölln, is the latest project of two extrovert Berlin fashion bloggers. They invited to the opening event in May 2016 offering free burgers and drinks – and caused a mass stampede of unprecedented proportions.
Several Berlin newspapers (such as the Morgenpost, German content) report on the events involving 300 guests inside of the restaurant and another 500 outside. After two hours, the company and police agreed to cancel the event in order to ensure the safety of everybody involved.
